The Dickson County Public Library has a large area devoted solely to our youngest patrons. More than 25,000 items, including not just print and audio books, but also movies, music, and hands-on material are available. In addition there are four computers without internet access that are loaded with a variety of educational games for preschool children.

Children’s programming includes preschool story hour twice a week, a monthly program for teens, and both summer and winter reading programs. Special programming is also scheduled.
